ABOUT THE CITY OF LAKE MACQUARIE:
Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 38% of the Lower Hunter population. With the city's current population fast approaching 210,000 Lake Macquarie is also the third largest regional city in New South Wales by population. Moreover, the city's population is expected to grow by 28,000 by 2036, creating a demand for 13,500 new dwellings and associated infrastructure.
ABOUT THE TENDER:
Council has a need to undertake cleaning services, including planned, reactive, programmed and emergency cleaning across multiple sites in its Local Government Area. The sites vary in size and complexity and include facility types such as libraries, community centres, commercial premises and specialist sites. The purpose of this tender is to appoint a panel of Service Provider(s) to deliver cleaning service for the sites listed in this Specification document. The approximate value of the externally delivered cleaning services is $300K per annum, primarily relating to programed general cleaning. This value is provided for indicative purposes only and does not represent any committed future volumes or values.

Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box, by facsimile transmission to (02) 4958 7257, or in a sealed envelope. The envelope is to be endorsed with the Tender number, title, and closing date and can be mailed or placed in the Tender Box located in Councils Administration Building, Ground Floor, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point by the nominated time and date.
TENDERERS TO NOTE: In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderers obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderers Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed nor engage in any form of collusive practice not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
