Organisational Change Manager (multiple)
Tender ID: 492792
Tender Details
Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) has a requirement for multiple Organisational Change Managers to help with inflight and upcoming FY 22/23 projects to deliver digital enhancements and solutions. Minimising risk to adoption and usage, reducing burden on sponsors, preparing strong change stories that contribute to overarching narratives, and minimising disruption by early and targeted tactics to engage impacted audiences.
These positions are a part of the Digital Services Division (DSD) Change Management Competency, and skillsets are applied to projects in a flexible model as required. The focus is to ensure that projects have agreed adoption and usage goals, and to design change management interventions that work to minimise risk to those goals and disruption to the department’s business outcomes.
As a Change Management Officer, you can bring different specialist skillsets to focus on the impact of change. This involves focusing on the ‘human factors’ of change – identifying the impact on people, achieving ‘readiness’ for change, and mitigating risks to adoption and usage. It also includes working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure good project communications and good project engagement to drive overarching project success.
The department uses both a waterfall and Agile approach to organisational change management, each with supporting tools and templates. You would be expected to use these to create consistency, increase change management maturity, and deliver rapid, fit-for-purpose adoption and usage solutions.
Change Management officers are supported in their role and will not necessarily be in a ‘lead’ position, therefore we encourage all applicants with strong skillsets in the following areas to apply:
• Organisational Change Management (junior through to experienced)
• Change Impact Analysis and the identification of Change Particulars
• Change-Communications and mapping of Change Stories
• Learning and Support Solutions
• Stakeholder Engagement
Positions are based in our Canberra offices. Depending on the program requirements, remote working may be considered. Should remote working be approved, there may be a requirement to travel to Canberra on occasion.
