Environmental Monitoring of Licensed Landfills

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for the provision of Environmental Monitoring of licensed landfill sites NetWaste is facilitating the contract for the regional environmental monitoring of licensed landfills on behalf of eight (8) of the member Councils (Participating Councils). It is the intention that the successful Contractor will enter into contractual agreements with each of the individual Participating Councils.

NetWaste is of the view that by acting co-operatively, a more beneficial schedule of rates may be forthcoming and therefore has included tender documents for the "collective" of eight (8) Participating Councils, where the prices would be reflective if the one contractor were to be successful in being awarded the contracts by seven (7) Participating Councils (excluding Bathurst Regional Council as requiring raw data only).

It is therefore expected that there will be a staggered commencement of contracts with a common expiry date to ensure the monitoring arrangements align into the future.

Tenderers are expected to familiarise themselves with the different monitoring and reporting requirements of each Participating Council in ensuring an informed tender submission and are to submit a Schedule of Rates structure for each individual Participating Council to ensure a conforming offer.

NetWaste and the Participating Councils will also consider alternative proposals which meet the required objectives and delivery the necessary outcomes.
