The South Australian Department of Trade and Investment has committed to the development of a Common User Facility (CUF) at the Australian Space Park (ASP) in South Australia.

DTI requires an experienced partner to support it in working with the Australian Space Industry to ensure the CUF meets the needs of both ASP tenants and the broader industry.

Operating the CUF, will include:

Promotion, marketing and advertising;

Access and security management;

Cleaning and maintenance;

Land management;

Facilities management; and

Equipment life cycle management.

This EOI is intended as the first step in a two-stage procurement process:

Stage 1: EOI Stage: this stage is focused on selecting a shortlist of one or more respondents with the appropriate capability, capacity and approach to operate the CUF.

Stage 2: Request for Proposal (RFP) Stage: during this stage, shortlisted EOI Respondents will be invited to participate in an RFP process that may include interactive proposal development and the submission of a proposal.

An EOI Respondent can be a single entity (Prime contractor) or a consortium with the capability, capacity, and resources to operate the CUF.  A Lead Supplier must be identified in each EOI application and that Lead Supplier must participate in the EOI stage in order to be eligible for down selection to the RFP stage.
