Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment - Invitation to Register Interest

Heritage Now, on behalf of McCloy Singleton Pty Ltd (contact details provided on registration), is requesting the names of Aboriginal people who hold cultural knowledge relevant to determining the significance of Aboriginal cultural heritage within the Project Area in Gowrie, in response to a proposed residential development. The Project Area is located 1.2 kilometres north-west of Singleton in the Singleton Local Government Area and is within the Wanaruah Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) boundaries. The purpose of community consultation with Aboriginal people is to assist the proposed applicant in the preparation of an application for an AHIP and to assist the Director General of Department of Premier and Cabinet (or a delegated Heritage NSW officer with delegated authority) in his or her consideration and determination of the application.
