Tender Description

The Cairns Airport T1 Refresh Programme a refurbishment of the existing International Terminal focusing on replacing ageing assets, improving passenger experience and implementing security enhancements to provide an improved experience for all users.

Cairns Airport is currently preparing project definition for the varying works elements and developing appropriate Works Packages which will deliver value outcomes.

Proposed project components include:

* Works Package 0 - Lead Design & Construct Contractor

* Works Package 1 - cladding & Roofing works

* Works Package 2 - Landside Upgrades

* Works Package 3 - Sterile Area Refurbishments

* Works Package 4 - Aerobridge Replacements

* Works Package 5 - Security Screening & BHS replacements

* Works Package 6 - Lifts & Escalators replacements

* Works Package 7 - Airconditioning & Electrical Upgrades

* Works Package 8 - Entry Landscaping Works

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

It is anticipated the works will be delivered as a programme of projects across a 5-year period. These projects will be prioritised and delivered in an agreed program between 2022 and 2027.
