Bridge Replacement Coppabella Creek

⁠⁠⁠The scope of the works for this project cover the detailed design and construction of a single lane bridge over Coppabella Creek on Coppabella Road. A preliminary design has been completed, with specifications attached to the tender.

The existing creek crossing has been damaged beyond repair, and this bridge is to replace the old crossing with a similar solutionThe area is quite isolated and mobile phone reception isn't available on Coppabella Road.

It's expected that a tender report will be submitted to the June Council meeting.

Contracts will be signed soon after that meeting with an expected commencement date to be as soon as is practicable to fit in with the current work schedule of the tenderer

A non-compulsory pre-tender meet will be held on site at 1pm on Friday 29th April 2022.

The meeting place is at the existing bridge site, where Coppabella road crosses Coppabella creek approximately 200 metres to the west of the intersection of Coppabella road and Maginnitys gap road

Tenderers may inspect the site at any time and are strongly urged to do so if unable to attend the scheduled meeting.
