Tender Description
Council is seeking services for 3 days a fortnight to undertake its obligations for Health and Building Surveying works for the benefit of the community. The works will include, but not limited to:
- Building surveying/certification works
- Assessment and issue of Complying Development Certificates and construction certificates in accordance with the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979
- Undertaking certification inspections where Council is acting as the certifier
- Assessment of plumbing and drainage approvals under Section 68 of the Local Government Act 1993
- Undertake Annual Fire Safety Measures inspections as required
- Provide expert advice on National Construction Code building compliance (including fire safety) for development applications
- Food shop inspections
- Undertaking of annual inspections in compliance with the Food Act 2003
- Issuing improvement notices
- Undertake NSW Food Authority Reporting
- Health inspections
- Undertaking of inspections of premises in accordance with the Public Health Act 2010
- Provide expert advice regarding health requirements for development applications
- Amusement device inspections as required
- Pool certification
- Inspections and certification of swimming pools in accordance with the Swimming Pools Act 1992
- Assist in undertaking compliance action for Council as required
