Tender Description
City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking a proposal from a suitably qualified provider to conduct a thorough evaluation on the NewSkills program.
The headline requirements the provider would be responsible for:
• Quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the NewSkills program to identify strengths / weaknesses of the program
• Research into niche skill gaps in the Newcastle population that are suitably filled / responded to by local government.
• Research into the links between small business training support and the creation of new local economic opportunities
• Recommendations for program design for future iterations of NewSkills
• Two journal articles or publications (co-published with the City of Newcastle), that drive the national conversation on targeted training programs for small businesses in a local government setting.
