Tender Description
The Queensland Government is seeking Offers for Invitation to Offer No. QED113020 For the Provision of Professional Advocacy Services for Students with a Disability.
The contract includes providing professional advocacy services to parents and, if appropriate, state school students with disability (including those in Home Education), to support the resolution of complex complaints relating to access, participation and/or achievement. The services required under the contract include, but are not limited to:
- Provision of information
- Referrals
- Advice
The contract does not include professional advocacy services for families:
- involved in complaints or disputes relating to students who do not have disability.
- of children registered for Early Childhood Development Programs or Services.
- of students not enrolled in Queensland state schools (other than those in Home Education).
- involved with complaints or disputes with Queensland Government departments other than the Department of Education, or complaints which have progressed to an external body or where the student and/or their family have legal representation .
