Fingal WTP UV Disinfection and Fluoride Upgrade project

⁠⁠⁠UV Disinfection has been identified as necessary at the Fingal WTP to achieve the water quality objectives as outlined in the Health Based Targets Manual. In addition, a direction from the Tasmanian Department of Health has mandated the need for fluoridation at the Fingal WTP.

These two new chemical treatment & dosing systems have been combined in this project scope of works as there are efficiencies in their combined delivery.

The Contract Works Scope covers the design, supply, fabrication, delivery, installation, integration, testing and commissioning necessary to provide a fully functional UV Disinfection System and Fluoride Saturator System at the Fingal WTP.

The UV Disinfection and Fluoride system will be housed onsite within a new building which is separate to the existing treatment plant building

The site location on which the Work under the Contract must be undertaken is Fingal WTP, Lot 2 Louisa St, Fingal,TAS 7214
