PURPOSE:
Maitland City Council requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contaminated land consultant, to provide services for Council in relation to the former Anambah Landfill site. Stage 1 of the work will include preparation of a short-term remediation plan to reduce gas pressure in the landfill, supervision and monitoring of site works and environmental monitoring and management plan for the site. Stage 2A will include the preparation of a final land-use options report to support a decision of Council on future landuse. Stage 2B will include the preparation of a remediation action plan for the site and approvals support for remediation during 2022 and 2023.
INVITATION:
Any person willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract is invited to submit a tender to the online forum by the deadline, 2.00 pm on Wednesday 4 May 2022.
INFORMATION:
All enquiries relating to the proposed contract must be directed to the Project Officer, Catherine Pepper via the online forum.
PRE-TENDER MEETING:
A pre-tender site visit will be held on Thursday 21 April at 2:00pm. The site visit is non mandatory but recommended. An addendum will be issued with a registration form for the site visit. Attendees must register prior to the date.
TENDERERS TO NOTE:
In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderer's obligations, the Tenderer shall:
- submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderer's Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete;
- not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed;
- not engage in any form of collusive practice;
- not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
