Expression of interest for the loading, transport, & disposal of stockpiled 'Exempt Fill Material'

⁠⁠⁠Frasers Property Australia invites you to submit an Expression of Interest (“EOI”) as a supplier who is interested in finding a home for our stockpiled EPA Exempt Fill Material?

Attached to the EOI in the portal you will find the Resource Recovery Order and Exemption granted by the EPA. This exemption applies to Shell Cove Precinct B2 excavated material derived from construction works commissioned by Australand Corporation (NSW) Pty Ltd (ACN: 001 022 117) that is, or is intended to be, applied to land as part of construction projects for engineering purposes or for use in earthworks.

Please understand the reason Frasers had to get the EPA exemption to permit the repurposing of this material, is due to the material slightly exceeding the copper criteria set out as part of the ENM classification, therefore it can’t be classified as ENM.

Part of the waste exemption and material order confirms this material is only allowed to be reused on a premises that are located within the Shellharbour, Wollongong, Kiama, and Shoalhaven Local Government Areas (LGA).

Please note this material is currently in stockpile and is ready to go. The Stockpile has been surveyed and quantified at 4784m3.

This material is located within the Frasers Shellcove Marina development and was excavated from an adjacent apartment project. Frasers have more projects in the pipeline for this development, and other material with the same makeup will become available over time as we excavate basements for future apartments.
