Tender Description

Council invites tenders from Contractors with prequalification Class B2 or higher to design and construct a new bridge over Swamp Creek in Kline Street Weston.

Compulsory Pre tender meeting on site @12:00pm on the 27th of April 2022.

Tenders close 2.00 pm Tuesday 10 May 2022.

The Contractor’s activities include:

The demolition and disposal of the existing bridge over Swamp Creek in Kline Street, Weston.
The design and construction of a new concrete bridge, 36m long and 12m wide, at a new height of approximately 1m above the existing bridge.
The design and construction of approximately 120m of roadworks to match the new bridge and to tie into existing street.
Repair of any damage done to roads or other infrastructure during construction works.
Repair and remediate any damage to adjoining buildings that has occurred as a result of construction works.
Remediate disturbed soil areas and revegetate road batters.
Management of traffic around the site.

In carrying out the activities, the Contractor must comply with Design and Construct (D&C) Quality Assurance (QA) specifications from TfNSW for design and construction of bridges and for design and construction of roadworks.
