Tender Description
NSW Government Department of Environment and Planning (DPE) in collaboration with Resilience NSW and NSW Rural Fire Service are seeking expressions of interest for establishing and administering the NSW Bushfire and Natural Hazards Research Centre (research centre). Funding for the research centre has been established to address research needs to deliver on recommendations from the 2019/20 Bushfire Inquiry. The research centre will be expected to focus on research into operations, risk, environment, culture and technology. Applicants are encouraged to develop a research consortium to work with numerous research organisations and universities to address the range of inquiry recommendation and associated natural hazard research.
