Tender Description
The Contractor shall be responsible for the collection, emptying, transport and disposal of all domestic refuse specified in the tender document for each separately occupied premises during the term of the contract within the Waratah-Wynyard municipal area boundary.
The Contractor shall provide the necessary services to each separately occupied premises within the nominated collection zones. For the purposes of the contract, a refuse collection service is to be provided to both the urban zones and rural zones. A limited opt-in service is also provided to some rural areas where the properties reside on a collection route.
The Contractor is responsible for the collection of conforming bins (up to 240L) that have been put out for collection.
The Contractor shall provide and maintain in good condition purpose-built domestic refuse collection vehicles to efficiently provide the service required by this Contract. Vehicles shall comply with all relevant legislation and shall hold and continue to hold all necessary certifications, licenses and permits.
