Container Refund Scheme - Request for Expression of Interest for Network Operator
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from entities interested in providing state-wide Network Operator services for the Container Refund Scheme, as part of a multi-stage procurement process.
The Network Operator is responsible for managing a network of refund points, where an eligible container can be returned for a 10-cent refund. The Network Operator is responsible for the logistics and handling of container materials, ensuring these are recycled.
Only those successful in the Expression of Interest stage, will be invited to participate in the Request for Tender stage.
