Tender Description
Woodside anticipates it will have an ongoing requirement for provision of Geological Services in support of the Scarborough Project, plus other potential Australian drilling activity.
The successful bidder will be able to provide the following Geological Services via access to a pool of resources across key roles with experience as outlined below:
Operations Geologist(s):
• A minimum of ten (10) years Oil & Gas Industry experience
• A minimum of seven (7) years role experience as an Operations Geologist
• Experience as a Wellsite Geologist with different operators is highly regarded
• West Australian experience (North West Shelf preferred) highly regarded
Wellsite Geologist(s):
• A minimum of ten (10) years Oil & Gas Industry experience
• A minimum of five (5) years role experience as a Wellsite Geologist
• Offshore experience (MODU) required.
• Horizontal Drilling Experience required (North West Shelf preferred)
• Previous experience as a mud logger and/or MWD/LWD/DD is highly regarded
Well Completion Report Compiler(s):
• A minimum of five (5) years Oil & Gas Industry experience
• Demonstrated history of delivering Well Completion Reports aligned with government legislation requirements in Australia
For all of the above roles, the following apply:
• Bachelor Of Science in a relevant field (e.g. Geology / Geophysics) required.
• Evidence of fluency in English Language (spoken & written) to native or business level (i.e. can write grammatically correct English language business reports)
• Recent North West Shelf Experience (within three (3) years) highly regarded.
• Previous experience working for Woodside is highly regarded.
