Tender Description
Package Description: The package is for the provision of paramedical services.
Specific Scope Requirements:
Suppliers wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate their ability to complete the following tasks for the On Site provision of paramedical services, including but not limited to:
• provision of initial and follow-up treatment for injuries and illness;
• provision and operation of a fully equipped intensive care Mine Spec 4WD Ambulance including management and transportation of
injured or sick personnel;
• provision and operation of a fully equipped Fire Engine;
• assistance with the return to work of injured personnel through rehabilitation programs;
• administration and day to day running of the Site construction first aid facilities;
• supply of first aid consumables and other items;
• checking and reporting on the maintenance by other contractors of first aid facilities;
• conducting non-specialist training courses and sessions in first aid and health related subjects;
• conducting regular hydration and Drug and Alcohol (D&A) testing on site;
• liaison with local medical practitioners, hospitals, RFDS and ambulance service;
• maintenance of all relevant attendance, health and other site records as required;
• assistance in the development and training of site emergency response teams; and
• provision of access to doctors and allied health through Telemedicine
