Youth Justice Community Partnership Innovation Grants
The Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs is calling for applications for Community Partnership Innovation Grants. Funds of up to $1.4 million is available for communities across Queensland.
One-off grants from $20,000 up to $250,000 are available for short-term or one-off projects that support young people – who are or could become high-risk offenders – to change their behaviours and connection with community.
The Queensland Government is seeking to engage local communities, businesses and organisations to support the trial of new ideas and projects that address youth offending and related issues in the priority areas of:
· Brisbane
· Logan
· Cairns
· Townsville
· Moreton Bay
· Ipswich
· Gold Coast.
Applications are now open and close 3 May 2022, with projects to commence prior to 1 October 2022.
