Tender Description

The Mental Health Commission (MHC) is currently undertaking planning for the procurement of providers to be placed on a Panel Contract to deliver 30 new Psychosocial Support Packages for young people aged 16 to 24 years who have mental health issues, with or without co-occurring alcohol and other drugs (AOD) issues. The services will be delivered in the Perth metropolitan area. The Panel of providers will deliver psychosocial support packages that will assist young people living in the community, either independently or in the family home, to increasingly participate in and contribute to community, social, and economic life. Consultation to inform the delivery of the packages was undertaken in 2021, with the packages anticipated to become available from late-2022.

The MHC will also engage an independent service provider to provide governance oversight for the psychosocial support packages. This independent service provider will be responsible for convening an independent panel to assess referrals and review support packages.
