Toowoomba Regional Council (Council) is seeking offers from individuals, organisations or parties interested in providing conference desk services.
Toowoomba Conferences was established in 2003 when local conference venues and accommodation providers approached the then Toowoomba City Council with an opportunity to add economic benefit to the region through the promotion of Toowoomba as a conference and business meeting destination.
Since establishment, Toowoomba Conferences has been co-located with the Regional Tourism Organisation, currently Southern Queensland Country Tourism. Toowoomba Conferences operations are made possible through a mix of funding from both Council and local industry contributions.
Council is now seeking expressions of interest for the day-to-day management of the Toowoomba Conferences desk for a period of 3 years commencing on 1st July 2022.
