Tender Description
OZ Minerals is seeking interest from specialised Companies with previous experience in the Mining industry that can supply suitably qualified and experienced Contractor Personnel to undertake Shutdown work, mine maintenance and ADHOC labour both on Surface and Underground infrastructure at its Carrapateena mine site. Contractor Personnel shall have the appropriate qualifications and competency for the following scopes of work:
Conveyor Works – Belt Technicians
SCOPE: Specialised service provider to be available for repairs, replacements and splicing of all the fabric and steel cord conveyor belting on Site, both process plant and underground infrastructure.
i. Contractor commitment for major and minor plant shutdowns at Carrapateena to carry out repairs and/or replacements as needed
ii. Provide a set out plan for all conveyor belt replacement or repair work, identifying critical tasks and set milestones for the major and minor shutdowns
iii. Provide an independent inspector, as requested, to be present to witness the splicing or repair procedure carried out by the Contractor
iv. Provide reports on wear measurements, conditions of existing conveyor belting/ splicing and provide recommendations for any remedial works that may be required
v. A 24 hr SLA on orders for services which include mobilisation of personnel as required by OZ Minerals
Adequate tools, specialised equipment, vehicles, and PPE to carry out the services as instructed. Contractor shall be responsible to abide by all of OZ Minerals safety standards and policies.
OZ Minerals continues to broaden its supply chain and welcomes all expressions of interest from appropriately experienced vendors. OZ Minerals will consider and establish a shortlist to which a request for tender may be issued.
