Tender Description
TasRail is currently seeking the services of experienced, qualified and competent Contractors with rail experience to tender for the installation of two (2) new pedestrian maze crossings and other associated civil works within the boundaries of State Rail Network land at Penguin.
Key Points of Tender:
- The scope of Works document outlines the expectations and qualifications required of participating Contractors and describes the nature of works to be undertaken.
- The successful Contractor must, where applicable, comply with the requirements of Rail Safety National Law (Tasmania) Act 2012, Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Mandatory on-site inspection: Tuesday 22 March at 11am.
Tenderers are to demonstrate in their submission their support of Tasmanian industry and businesses as required by the Tasmanian Government Buy Local Policy and comply with TasRail's Contractor Management System.
