Blacktown City Council was successful in receiving funds from NSW Department of Planning, Infrastructure and Environment’s Public Spaces Legacy Program (PSLP) to embellish the Great West Walk. The Great West Walk was officially opened for public use in 2019. It is a 65km walking route stretching from Parramatta to the foot of the Blue Mountains and takes in a large part of Blacktown City. Council has identified the need to provide a recreational destination located along the walk which can attract people using this space as well as cater for high demand generated by the existing young Blacktown population. This location has been determined to be Harvey Park, Marayong. A recreational pump track facility has been proposed for the park and will be Blacktown City Council’s first recreational pump track facility.
This RFT seeks a company suitably qualified and experienced person/s, firms or entities for the provision of Design and construction of pump track at Harvey Park as per Request for Tender package on an as required basis.
The Contractor is required to prepare design and construction documentation as well as construction of the pump track that responds to the intent, function, aspiration and spatial arrangement of the specifications and that fit within the currently allocated budget.
