Sale and Activation of Former Athletics Track

⁠⁠⁠Council invites Interested Parties to lodge an Expression of Interest for the part sale of Lot 102 DP 1126475, the former athletics track and fields located on Greg Norman Drive, Hillvue. This location has been identified as the idyllic position to develop a tourism precinct and permanently secure Tamworth’s status as the Country Music Capital of Australia as well as build on the strength of the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC). Council also has a vision to celebrate our rural heritage and bolster our sporting identity within this precinct.

Expressions of Interest close at 11:00am Tuesday 3 May 2022.

Expressions of Interests may be lodged electronically at trc@tamworth.nsw.gov.au or mailed to PO Box 555, Tamworth NSW 2340 or lodged in the Tender Box in Ray Walsh House, 437 Peel Street Tamworth. (Note: Under no circumstances are Expressions of Interest documents to be e-mailed to Council staff).
