IP Australia is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Advisor on a part time basis.
The Senior Technical Advisor will work flexibly for up to three days per week (24 hours) to provide dedicated senior leadership across a range of projects and incidents. They would be working on specific focus tasks and be an impact player to assist my team and potentially other areas of the branch to work through significant, problematic, or targeted issues and unblock these items.
The role will be required to:
• Collaborate with leadership and SMEs to determine existing technical capabilities and future needs
• Create and present reports to stakeholders and decision-makers
• Create comprehensive procedural roadmaps to implement successful technology migrations and adoptions
• Triage key technical issues across a broad range of infrastructure and services such as networking, cloud, data centers, security, service management
• Work through contractual or procurement issues
• Provide practical advice and direction to teams around how to simplify, stabilize and improve services
• Provide Technical guidance across a broad range of ITO’s projects and systems
• Provide Leadership, mentoring to individuals and teams
• Assist with building a culture of working through issues as a team across branches
• Run and manage dedicated/targeted uplift and improvement programs
This role is required to attend the office, with the option to discuss working from home on an adhoc basis.
