Tender Description
PURPOSE :Maitland City Council, on behalf of City of Newcastle, Dungog and Port Stephens Councils and Hunter Local Land Services ("Councils"), seeks proposals from suitably qualified consultants for the preparation of a package of work that will complete the Stage 1 Scoping Study of the Hunter River Estuary Coastal Management Program (CMP).
Councils have completed an initial package of work contributing to some of the steps of Stage 1 Scoping Study under the Coastal Management Program, called Stage 1A. Stage 1B comprises the remaining steps under the Stage 1 Scoping Study of the Coastal Management Program including a synthesis of Stage 1A.
This brief is split into two sections being the "Development of the Scoping Study" and "Engagement Strategy Development". Consultants can quote for either of the sections or both and must provide appropriate experience in the chosen area.
The Stage 1B Scoping study will be delivered by 3 June 2022. The contract will be managed by Maitland City Council on behalf of the project partners.

PRE-TENDER MEETING: A pre-tender meeting will not be held.
TENDERERS TO NOTE: In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderer's obligations, the Tenderer shall:
- submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderer's Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete;
- not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed;
- not engage in any form of collusive practice;
- not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
