This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
We are seeking the services of a highly skilled Service and Interaction Designer. The successful applicant will work in a multi-disciplinary team delivering improvements to several digital products, including the department’s external website.
Activities may include, but aren’t limited to:
• Undertaking user research and testing to build an understanding of users and their behaviour and how they will interact with the service
• Providing advice about the design of the end-to-end service, ensuring that it meets user and business needs
• Designing user interfaces from wireframe prototypes to high-end visual concepts
• Documenting detailed design and functionality specifications for developers
The applicant must demonstrate a deep knowledge of:
• Human Centered Design methodologies in digital ecosystems
• Agile practices & principles
• User research methods
• User interface design
• Service Design
• Digital design and collaboration tools such as Adobe XD and Miro.
The successful application will have the following skills:
• Effectively present solutions and visualise complex services
• Identification of user needs, business requirements and iterate on design solutions
• Challenging assumptions using an evidence-based approach.
