The item for purchase and removal is the Vessel ‘Triumph’ (vessel registration: BI726).
The Vessel ‘Triumph’ is currently stored on a hard stand at the Department of Transport (DoT) Boating Facility at Jervoise Bay Cove, Woodman Point Recreation Reserve, Munster, Western Australia.
‘Triumph’ was sunk on DoT recreational mooring 498 at Blackwall Reach, in the Swan River, East Fremantle and, pursuant to section 71 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982 (WAMA), was removed and transported to Woodman Point by salvage contractors engaged by DoT.
The Item is being sold pursuant to the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1970.
DoT is seeking offers for the purchase and removal of this vessel as described below. The vessel is considered to be unseaworthy and in extremely poor condition, in its current state.
