This procurement covers:
This proposal is for the outright purchase of 2 x Flow Cytometer Analysers and 1 x Automated Sample Preparation System (SPS) including new analysis and connectivity software to create an End to End Flow Cytometry system for processing and reporting of Bloods, Bone Marrows, CSF and Body Fluid samples for patients with Immunodeficiency and haematology- oncological malignancies. This requires an up to date and reliable system to efficiently perform urgent and complex Flow Cytometry testing and analysis required for clinician interpretations.
This proposed acquisition will replace 2 x Flow Cytometers and 1 x Automated Robotic FP1000 processing instruments at Frome Road that are over 11 years old. The Automated FP1000 instrument was unreliable with components of system breaking down and parts obsolete. The functionality of system was unable to be utilised for its intended purpose with instrument since decommissioned from service.
