Tender Description
Chevron Australia is seeking expressions of interest from service providers able to supply, inspect and maintain lifting and rigging equipment in support of the Gorgon LNG facility and WA Oil operations on Barrow Island, Wheatstone LNG facility in Onslow, Wheatstone offshore platforms and Chevron’s mainland supply bases.
Contractor shall provide the scope as described in the scope of work below.
Chevron would consider suppliers who have the capability to provide the entire scope or majority of the scope.
Scope of work includes (but not limited to):
• Plan, coordinate and manage Chevron owned, hired or 3rd party’s rigging and lifting equipment inspection, maintenance and servicing activities:
o Provide and maintain a database of equipment to track inspection and servicing requirements and generate reports;
o Inspect, test, certify and calibrate equipment;
o Schedule and execute maintenance / repairs / overhauls of equipment; and
o Develop training package and deliver training to equipment operating personnel.
• Equipment in scope includes but not limited to mobile cranes, overhead cranes, truck mounted cranes, davit cranes and davit arms, hoist and winching equipment, monorails, fixed and loose lifting equipment, fixed pad eyes, portable lifting, lifted items, and certified materials handling equipment.
• Provide engineering support including design and fabrication of lifting and rigging equipment, developing critical lifting plan, auditing lifting process and procedure, advising and supervising critical lifting operations, conducting structural assessment of lifted items.
• Supply of general and specialist lifting and rigging equipment including but not limited to round / soft slings, containers and load measuring equipment.
• Supply of spare parts for equipment.
• Provide storage of equipment as needed.
