Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is seeking industry engagement for the Western Distributor Smart Motorways (WDSM) Project by way of a market sounding process.

The WDSM project will deliver smart motorway operations between the northern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge at Milsons Point, to the western end of Anzac Bridge at Rozelle.

The project will introduce a Level 1A smart motorway with devices to make the corridor more efficient, handle more traffic, increase safety and harness technology to provide better travel information to inform customers and road operations.

TfNSW is seeking to engage with our industry partners to help inform the way we procure, develop and deliver this project. Through the market sounding process, TfNSW is requesting feedback on the proposed contract model, gauging interest in the project, and to gain awareness of any constraints in the current market.
