Tender Description
The project is for the construction of new emergency storage and the fit out of the refurbished pump station. The works will include two separable portions.
Separable Portion 1 – Emergency Storage Supply and Construct
Separable portion 1 work is for the supply of all materials and the construction of 200 m3 of new emergency overflow storage using 1200 diameter pipes on the foreshore at Bathurst Point for the North Thomson Sewerage Pump Station. The area will require clearing, dewatering, excavation, pipe installation, a new sewage manhole and re-establishment.
Separable Portion 2 – North Thomson SPS 06 Upgrade
The RIA proposes to upgrade the existing North Thomson PS with new pumps, controls, power supply and a diesel back up pump. Separable portion 2 includes work to fit out and commission the upgrade of the pump station. All materials, apart from some piping and fittings will be supplied by the Principal.
The wet well for the pump station will be handed over to the contractor in a refurbished condition ready for the fit. The function and operation of the pump station will be managed by the new diesel back up pump.
