Quotations are sought by Kempsey Shire Council to provide Principal Design Consultant Services for the consultancy services outlined in Stage 6 of the Scope of Works.

In July 2021 it was announced that Kempsey Shire Council was successful in securing a $6.3m grant under the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund (jointly funded by NSW State and Federal Government). This upgrade is essential for Kempsey Regional Saleyards (KRS) to remain competitive, continue to contribute to regional capacity and the economic prosperity of the region.

The objective of the KRS infrastructure upgrade project is to provide a modern facility addressing animal welfare and work health and safety requirements, along with reducing the impact on the environment in terms of waste management, water usage and electricity consumption.

Proposals should be submitted in accordance with instructions included in the information documents and lodged in the electronic tender box on eProcure prior to the closing time and date. The onus rests on the tenderer to ensure that the tender is lodged in accordance with the above requirements.
