Lake Macquarie Dobell Festival 2022

⁠⁠⁠The Lake Macquarie Dobell Festival will return in June 2022.

The festival is an annual month long celebration of what is the essence of Sir William Dobell - passion, innovation, fringe, experimentation and creative excellence.

Council is seeking expressions of interest from musicians, bands, theatre groups, galleries, artists, community groups and other organisations to be a part of the 2022 festival. This could be through a one off performance, an exhibition or another type of event that connects to the theme.

To express your interest in being involved please complete the form below by Friday 18 March 2022. Following this date Council staff will be in contact to discuss your proposal.

Council will provide marketing support and waive facility hire at cultural venues for all participating organisations. All other expenses incurred through the event will be borne by the organisation. Ticketing may be used to recoup costs. The festival marketing package includes advertising in the Newcastle Herald and other Hunter Region monthly event advertisements, Council’s “What’s On” online platform, Lake Mac Tourism marketing online channels and other Arts Culture and Tourism online platforms and subscriber e-newsletters.
