Manufacture of crane runway girders

⁠⁠⁠Rio Tinto requires a supplier to manufacture crane runway girders. Each girder segment is ~10m length, in a welded beam shape.

Nominal size of elements:

Flanges 32PL x 400 wide
Web 16PL x 550 deep

All welding in accordance with AS1554.1 using SP. Fabrication tolerances to be in accordance with AS/NZS 5131:2016.

Total girder fabrication is 14 girders, equating to ~140m length and 38T of steelwork.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, the Supplier/s will be notified of any changes prior to award.
