Tender Description
Development Victoria (DV) will release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Construction Contractor to deliver the new Plant 18 high voltage (HV) substation and main switchroom (MSR) on Todd Road to provide a new electrical connection to the Plant 18 tenancy at Fishermans Bend.
This RFP will be released via a Selective Tender to at least three bidders that are pre-qualified commercial construction contractors on the Department of Treasury and Finance Victoria’s Construction Supplier Register (CSR). The selected bidders must have relevant expertise and experience in co-ordination and delivery of high voltage substations and switchrooms.
The procurement will be subject to the Ministerial Directions for Public Construction Procurement in Victoria, Local Jobs First Policy and the Social Procurement Framework.
The services are to be delivered using Development Victoria’s modified AS2124 (construct only) contract.
Full detail of the procurement will be distributed to invited tenderers with the tender notice in early 2022.
