Tender Description
The Riser & Dynamic Umbilical Pullheads Supply Scope comprises activities associated with the design and supply of the following temporary hang-off pullheads:
• Flexible riser pull-heads c/w flushing and temporary hang-off capability;
• Dynamic umbilical riser pull-heads c/w temporary hang-off capability;
• Dummy pull-heads (inc. dummy subsea end fittings) for riser guide tube drift test;
• All associated ancillary tools & equipment.
The supply covers provision of the items specified and associated Project Management & Engineering, 3rd Party Verification of design and manufacture, FAT, Packaging, Transportation and other Services (if any) complete with associated documentation, in accordance with requirements of this document.
All pull-heads, dummy heads and associated tools and ancillaries shall be designed and supplied in accordance with the appropriate Company Specifications and Industry Codes & Standards.
Flexible Risers Pull-heads
The riser pull-heads requires a custom design which integrates the following features:
• ROV operable flushing port c/w isolation valve;
• ROV operable / automatic temporary hang-off mechanism;
The following quantities of flexible riser pull-heads are required:
• 3 off pull-heads for 6” Service Risers (SR) c/w ancillaries;
o Pull-head Lift Point SWL: 59Te SWL;
o Temporary Hang-off Mechanism SWL: 50Te SWL;
o Design Pressure: 537.5bar(g)
o Max Pull-head OD: 518mm;
o Max Length: 1200mm;
o EF Flange: Flange Face and groove Inconel 625 overlay;
o Coating System: Norsok M-501 System 7(for external / internal wetting surfaces where non corrosion resistant material is used)
o Cathodic Protection: Minimum 24-months
o Lifting Interface: ROV hook compatible
• 3 off pull-heads for 12” Production Risers (PR) c/w ancillaries;
o Pull-head Lift Point SWL: 110Te SWL;
o Temporary Hang-off Mechanism SWL: 100Te SWL;
o Design Pressure: 412.5bar(g)
o Max Pull-head OD: 718mm;
o Max Length: 1300mm;
o EF Flange: Flange Face and groove Inconel 625 overlay;
o Coating System: Norsok M-501 System 7(for external / internal wetting surfaces where non corrosion resistant material is used)
o Cathodic Protection: Minimum 24-months
o Lifting Interface: ROV hook compatible
• 2 off pull-heads for 12” Gas Export Risers (GER) c/w ancillaries.
o Pull-head Lift Point SWL: 100Te SWL;
o Temporary Hang-off Mechanism SWL: 100Te SWL;
o Design Pressure: 260bar(g)
o Max Pull-head OD: 626mm;
o Max Length: 1300mm;
o EF Flange: Flange Face and groove Inconel 625 overlay;
o Coating System: Norsok M-501 System 7(for external / internal wetting surfaces where non corrosion resistant material is used)
o Cathodic Protection: Minimum 24-months
o Lifting Interface: ROV hook compatible
The custom pullheads are required to interface with the flexible riser end fittings (SPO flanges), which are pulled through the STP Buoy riser guide tubes.
Dynamic Umbilicals Pull-heads
The dynamic umbilical pull-heads require a custom design which integrates the
following features:
• ROV operable / automatic temporary hang-off mechanism.
The following quantities of dynamic umbilical riser pull-heads are required:
• 2 off pull-heads for Dynamic Umbilicals (DU)
o Pull-head Lift Point SWL: 57Te SWL;
o Temporary Hang-off Mechanism SWL: 50Te SWL;
o Max Pull-head OD: 505mm;
o Max Length: 550mm;
o Coating System: Norsok M-501 System 7(for external / internal wetting surfaces where non corrosion resistant material is used)
o Cathodic Protection: Minimum 24-months
o Lifting Interface: ROV hook compatible
The custom pullheads are required to interface with the dynamic umbilical riser end
canister bolting pattern, which are pulled through the STP Buoy riser guide tubes.
Supplier’s must be able to provide the following additional tools and installation aids to operate with the flushing & latching pull-heads:
• Various flushing hot-stabs;
• Blind stabs;
• Debris stabs;
• SPO flange seals;
• Remote critical spares pack.
To be considered a potential Supplier for BAR-041, Supplier MUST have significant track record (greater than 6-off projects) in the following:
• Provision of design and supply of pressure retaining & flushing riser pull-heads (ROV operated);
• Provision of design and supply of temporary hang-off riser pull-heads (to STP Buoys – ROV operated);
• Provision of design and supply of riser pull-heads integrated to SPO flanges.
