Tender Description
The City of Mitcham (“Council”) invites tenders for the provision of Footpaths and Associated Civil Works (the Works). 2.2 The Works required by Council will located at a number of sites throughout the local area and are detailed in Section D “Scope of Work and Specification”. 2.1 Council may enter into a Contract for the Works with the successful Tenderer.
The Contract will be for a term of 3 years with the option for Council to extend the Contract for a further 2 years (3+1+1) at its ultimate discretion. 2.2 The Scope of works for the 2022/23 programme is expected to include up to 13,000 m2 of paved footpaths across 23 streets plus a further 9 new footpaths.
These numbers are indicative only and are subject to change. Council expects the values to remain reasonably constant from year to year, however external funding may change this, as well as the outcome of Council, State and Federal elections in 2022.
