In early 2021, the Western Australian Government made a preelection commitment to expand the network of Changing Places across Western Australia with an investment of $2 million.
Currently, there are 183 Changing Places across Australia, with 34 located in Western Australia. 22 are located in metropolitan Perth, with others in Broome, South Hedland, Geraldton, Moora, Guilderton, Toodyay, Chidlow, Meckering, Bunbury, Collie, Narrogin and Katanning.
