This Contract is for three Separable Portions, with the main tasks as follows:
Separable Portion A
Removal of existing twin Armco culvert crossing White Street Rangiora, and supply and installation of a 20.5m long, 3m x 0.75m internal span concrete box culvert. A small section of the culvert is to be poured in situ to allow existing cable ducts to be cast into the base and lid. The remainder is to be pre-cast units. Note, this pre-cast culvert is not a standard supply item. Humes have offered a custom unit, which consists of a 200mm thick portal duct, with 250mm thick lid. This is to be procured by the Contactor.
Supply and installation of 30m of 125mm OD PE100 PN12.5 water main to replace the existing AC pipework around the culvert alignment.
Surface restoration works including gardens, footpath, kerb & channel and asphalt surfacing.

Separable Portion B
Supply and installation of a of a 36m long timber pole retaining wall in the drain between Janelle Place and White Street Rangiora.
Supply and construction of fence posts and rails through a 20.5m length behind the wall.

Separable Portion C
Supply and construction of a 4.65m long, 2.5m x 1m internal span concrete box culvert in the inlet drain at Southbrook Pond C, 144 Fernside Road Rangiora. Note that for this separable portion all flow may be diverted through the existing weir into the roadside drain on Flaxton Road for the duration of construction.
This Contract requires the contractor to be prequalified to Tier A or B of Category 10: Civil Projects - Roading Improvements, Kerbing and Drainage, and the contractor or their sub-contractor to be prequalified to Tier A or B of Category 13: Utilities - Pressure Systems.
