As pre-qualification for the Design & Construction of a new Aid to Navigation (AtoN) structure located within Sydney Harbour, interested parties are required to complete a Confidentiality Deed to be eligible to receive a full set of Request for Tender (RFT) documents.
The works include the design and construction of a new AtoN foundation, relocation and upgrade of an existing heritage lighthouse and demolition and removal of the existing AtoN foundation, by mid-December 2022, or as agreed by Port Authority.
As part of the RFT process, the successful Contractor will be required to:
- Demonstrate experience as a maritime contractor, with specific experience in the field of AtoN construction and work on heritage or other complex projects within an operational marine environment.
- Demonstrate access to equipment/plant suitable and available to complete the scope of work within Sydney Harbour at the times required to achieve the program.
- Attend the mandatory pre-tender site visit, currently scheduled for 1 February 2022.
