This Request for Offer has been prepared for the purpose of engaging a suitably qualified and experienced provider to install bored cast in-situ reinforced concrete mico-piles to form part of a new bridge at Ophir Glen Road, Burringbar.

Some items of work required under the contract include but are not limited to the following:

• Submit detailed construction methodology including any temporary works (eg. piling platform) for approval prior to commencement of construction works;

• Provide “independent third party” inspection and certification by a suitably qualified geotechnical engineer for each pile. • Provide Inspection Test Plans with hold points for approval by Engineer and principle’s authorised person;

• Temporary site services and site facilities including, toilets/amenities for Contractor's staff, safety fencing, drainage discharge control and silt fencing, etc.

• Locate site services including water supply, underground telecommunications, sewer and power services

• Environmental protection (including erosion and sediment control), monitoring and maintenance activities (eg.cleaning silt traps/fences after storms).

• Site works including, temporary works, setout, earthworks, landscaping, etc;

• Site set-out of construction to approved plans (TSC will provide initial survey setout of each pile position and completion (WAX) survey, Contractor is responsible for all other set-out incuding offsets)

• Protection of works during periods of heavy rainfall;

• Co-ordinate all sampling, testing, and provide all: equipment, supervision, reports, and NATA certificates, necessary to verify materials (steel, grout, concrete) and construction meets all current standards, finishes, strength and durability requirement under the contract.

• Contractor to co-ordinate all inspections with principal’s authorised person

• Provide pre and post construction dilapidation survey of adjacent residences if required;

• Submit complying documentation, Licenses, Insurances, WHS, maintain site induction register, and brief work / construction method statements

• Marked up Drawing set of ‘AS Constructed”, including pile log.

• Road pavements to be kept clean and minimum dust from traffic and construction practices.

• Periodic cleaning of public areas.
