Port Macquarie-Hastings Council operates five waste facilities across the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area. Waste tyres are transported by Council staff to the to the Port Macquarie Waste Transfer Station (PM WTS) at Kingfisher Road.

Council is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake collection of waste tyres from the PM WTS and transport them to an EPA licensed recycling facility for resource recovery. The objective of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is for Council to maintain the diversion of tyres from landfill and encourage reuse and recycling processes.

The Contract is for an initial term of two years, with one option to extend for a further one year.
