RoadTek are required to undertake the replacement of the Hut Creek timber bridge on Blue Mountain Road, Mackay. The bridge will be replaced with a single span pre-stressed concrete bridge. The works will also involve the construction of a sidetrack to divert the travelling public on a whilst the bridge and approaches are constructed.
As part of the above works we are calling tenders for a suitably qualified subcontractor to assist with the construction of the civil components of the sidetrack, bridge approaches and bridge construction. The works will be in accordance with the Project Drawings, TMR Standard Drawings and TMR Specifications.
The works will involve the tenderer providing the necessary personnel and plant to carry out the works. The tender package offered is based on a Dayworks style arrangement due to the project resourcing requirements of the works.
- Scope, Timing and Programme of Work
- The anticipated start date for the works is early mid December 2021 and the completion of the works is planned for 30 June 2022
- The scope of this package is for the supply of one (1) Project Job (Truck 4-8T) suitable for road construction works and two (2) competent and licensed Truck Driver/Roller operators/Roadworks labourers.
- The scope of construction works is outlined in the attached BOQ (Note: This BOQ is not for pricing by Tenderer) and Project Drawings.
