Kainga Ora Homes and Communities is a new Crown agency that brings together the people, capabilities and resources of Kiwi Build, Housing New Zealand, and its development subsidiary HLC. This will enable a more joined up approach to supporting the Government's priorities for housing and urban development in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Opportunity
Kainga Ora Homes and Communities is establishing a National Supplier Panel for Engineer to Contract EtC. Through this arrangement our panelists will be responsible for delivering the required EtC services across all standard developments in a specified region with a view to creating closer, long-term relationships. Panelists will mainly be appointed to projects on a direct basis and help drive efficiency and innovation in Kainga Ora developments.
Note that Kainga Ora reserves the right for large scale complex developments, such as apartment builds, to sit outside of the panel volumes.
The developments that may be covered by these engagements include the following Simple, Standard and where applicable Significant type projects Contract Partnership Agreements CPA s 1, 2 and 3 storey townhouses 2 and 3 level Walk Up Apartments Large Scale Apartments 4 storeys or more Urban Development and Delivery Urban Planning and Design Maintenance and Remedial work including Retrofit and Complex remediation projects (CRP).
Kainga OraHomes and Communities 5 Services Required
This RFP seeks suitably experienced and qualified EtC's to provide these services as per Appendix A, Scope of Services.
Contract Type
The contract will be the Kainga Ora Long Form Agreement for Consultant Engagement (CCCS). The current version is attached, as per Appendix D.
