Tender Description
East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) requires the supply, delivery and optional maintenance of the Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) units for Royal Perth Hospital (RPH).
The CPAP unit takes in room air, pressurises it and then transports the pressurised air through a tube and mask and delivers it via the person’s nose (or nose and mouth) into their upper airway (throat) to assist in the management of hypoxic respiratory failure.
The Offered Equipment must be suitable for non-invasive ventilation (NIV) patients with a mask and also suitable for delivering high flow oxygen concentrations to treat patient conditions such as cardiogenic pulmonary oedema and chest wall injuries.
