Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from organisations wishing to be pre-registered to tender for the proposed contract for: MVCHP Crescent Head Holiday Park Safari Tents.
This Invitation for EOI is the first stage of a multi-stage procurement process. The objective of the EOI process is to identify and pre-register organisations that are interested in entering into the proposed contract and have suitable capacity, capability and experience. Successful short-listed Respondents will be invited to Stage 2 and submit a tender.
Respondents are to note that this Invitation provides a brief overview of the proposed contract and the scope of work, and more details will be included in the subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) documents provided to the successful short-listed Respondents, as a result of this EOI process.
The Council has commenced a Capital Works Programme to upgrade, replace and refurbish built assets within its Macleay Valley Coast Holiday Parks (Holiday Parks) over the next 10 years. As part of this programme, Council is seeking to provide a range of different types of holiday accommodation that are robust and able to withstand the extreme coastal environment at which they will be located.
Many of the existing built assets at the five Holiday Parks are nearing End-of-Life (EoL) and demonstrate the impact of extreme coastal environmental conditions on materials that were not suitably specified for the harsh environment in which they were installed.
In order to improve longevity and reduce maintenance, the Council is developing a standardised specification that provides value-for-money, practicality and aesthetics, for each of its holiday accommodation types that are being replaced and/or installed, which will be provided in the RFT documents.
