Tender Description
The Principal wishes to appoint one or more suitably experienced, qualified and equipped successful suppliers for the provision of Pavement Investigation Testing and Design for Road Resurfacing to undertake the following services:
• Investigation and review of the Principal supplied site specific information.
• Evaluate and recommend type and extent of testing required.
• Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) testing.
• Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) testing.
• On site pavement investigations and testing of existing pavement structures.
• Data analysis and pavement design in the format required by the Principal.
• Provide options for pavement rehabilitation and recommend the preferred method that is economically efficient and provides an improved pavement life cycle; include minimum three options.
• Ad-hoc ride quality testing.
• Ad-hoc provision of drafting and road design services.
• Ad-hoc road condition visual inspection including video survey and photographic recording of the road condition and defects identified.
• Ad-hoc specialist pavement Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) services.
The supplier is required to provide the generated data in the required format to the Principal for analysis and pavement design. All design work must be undertaken under the supervision of and certified by a Specialist Pavement RPEQ.
